Elsevier said in its 7 October announcement that it had signed an agreement with the JAMA Network to add full-text content and visuals from 13 journals to ClinicalKey AI. The company said the material would inform answers delivered through its clinical AI product.
The agreement covers all published full-text content and visuals from JAMA, JAMA Network Open and 11 specialty journals, including JAMA Cardiology, JAMA Internal Medicine and JAMA Oncology, according to Elsevier. Elsevier says ClinicalKey AI links clinicians to the full-text articles behind its answers.
Elsevier says ClinicalKey AI offers integration through APIs and supports HIPAA-compliant use in North America with controls designed to protect patient health information. It also plans to offer deeper integration with hospital electronic health records following its acquisition of WellSheet. Elsevier said the JAMA Network content was available to ClinicalKey AI customers on 7 October.
