On 18 October, Reuters reported Anthropic’s plan to assign 5% of its equity to a new public benefit fund, pending stockholder approval.

Anthropic said the fund’s stake could increase as the artificial intelligence company’s valuation grows. The proposed commitment concerns shares in the company and requires its stockholders’ approval before it can take effect.

AI Affairs previously reported that Anthropic’s IPO filing lists $18 million for Dario Amodei and $16.4 million for Daniela Amodei.

It also reported that investors were weighing a $1.5 trillion IPO valuation after the company’s growth slowed.
