Crypto Briefing reported on 12 October that Bain Capital-majority-owned Bridge Data Centres is in talks to increase its loan facility to about $6.6 billion. In March 2025, the company closed a $2.8 billion senior secured bank loan intended mainly for expansion in Malaysia and Thailand.

Crypto Briefing also puts the proposed loan at up to $6 billion elsewhere in its report. The loan may have a 12-month term, according to the report.

Part of the funding is expected to support Bridge’s QHI01 campus in Thailand, which is planned for up to 200 megawatts at an investment of approximately $1.2 billion. Bridge has a pipeline exceeding 1.5 gigawatts across Malaysia, Thailand and India. The company has also announced plans to invest between S$3 billion and S$5 billion in digital infrastructure in Singapore.

Crypto Briefing reported that DayOne Data Centers is separately in talks that could increase an existing facility towards $7 billion.
