Seeking Alpha reported that Isomorphic Labs is in early talks to raise funds at a valuation of at least $40 billion. The round could value the company as high as $50 billion, according to the report.
Isomorphic Labs, an AI drug-discovery company spun out of Alphabet’s Google DeepMind, raised $2.1 billion in a Series B funding round five months before the report. The proposed valuation is a price for the company, rather than the amount it is seeking to raise.
AI Affairs previously reported on US agencies and technology companies joining Biohub’s $1.8 billion biology-data effort. Meta, Google DeepMind and Isomorphic Labs are jointly investing $300 million in the nonprofit initiative to build open datasets for biological research.
