Binance launches AI Pro to turn trading instructions into automated strategies

The agent offers simulated trading before deployment, while live strategies require a separate approval and operate in accounts that users must fund manually.

Binance said in its 19 October 2026 launch announcement that it had introduced Binance AI Pro, an agent that turns plain-language trading ideas into automated strategies. The company says the product is available on its website and app without a separate sign-up. Users can test a strategy with virtual funds, but must review and approve it separately before putting it into live trading.

Key points

  • Binance says its agent converts written instructions into editable strategy code.
  • Live trading requires user approval and an account that only the user can fund.
  • Paper trading is available, but backtesting is absent from the initial release.
  • A free plan includes 250,000 monthly credits; Premium costs 19.99 USDC per month.

Strategy Canvas makes the instructions editable

A user can describe the assets to trade, the conditions for acting, the parameters to use and the limits on risk, according to Binance. Its agent fills in gaps and presents the proposed strategy as a visual workflow called the Strategy Canvas. On desktop, that workflow appears beside the conversation, where individual steps can be inspected, changed or removed. On mobile, Binance says, the exchange for building and refining a strategy takes place through chat.

Binance says the system combines a large language model with a finance-specific agent harness of its own design. The model handles the written request, while the harness includes a workflow generator that produces executable strategy code and guardrails for the process. Binance says the agent draws on its market data and research as well as selected third-party sources. In practical terms, the written instruction becomes a set of steps a user can examine before the code runs.

The company says those workflows can also produce daily reports, monitor markets, generate signals and send subscription alerts. Binance AI Pro supports Spot and USDS-M Futures strategies, subject to regional restrictions, and allows up to 10 strategies per user across simulated trading, live trading and signals. That limit covers the uses together rather than granting a separate allowance for each one.

AI Strategy Account keeps funding manual

Binance says every strategy can first be run through paper trading, which follows the proposed rules in a simulated environment using virtual funds. The initial release also offers automated code testing, according to the company. It does not offer backtesting — running a strategy against past market data — so the testing options Binance describes are distinct from checking how the rules would have performed over an earlier period.

Testing a trading idea before committing money would let its rules be tried with virtual funds, then reviewed again before live use. If those rules needed changing, the editable workflow would provide a way to revise them before the separate approval step. The simulated run would remain a test of the strategy, rather than a record of how it performed with real money.

For live use, Binance says a user must complete a separate review-and-approve step. An approved strategy runs in a dedicated AI Strategy Account, described by the company as a virtual sub-account isolated from the user’s main Binance account. Only the user can put funds into it, through a manual transfer; Binance says the agent cannot transfer funds itself. Strategies can subsequently be paused, changed or revoked.

Binance says the strategy sub-account cannot send funds to an external address, and transfers are confined to the user’s own accounts. The company links this design to principles in a paper published earlier in October by its Global Policy team, under which agents analyse and recommend while consequential actions require explicit human approval. The account restriction concerns where funds can move; approval concerns whether a strategy starts live trading.

Premium Plan costs 19.99 USDC monthly

Binance says all users begin on a free Standard Plan with 250,000 monthly credits. Its Premium Plan costs 19.99 USDC per month and includes 10 million monthly credits, credit top-ups and access, where available, to models including ChatGPT Sol, ChatGPT Astra and Claude Opus. Payment for Premium is through Binance Pay. Both plans’ monthly credits refresh, according to the company.

Premium top-up credits work differently from the monthly allowance: Binance says they are used only after that allowance has been exhausted, do not refresh and expire after 12 months. The company also says people using the beta can retain their existing service and subscriptions, with an option to move their chat history and strategies through the app.

Binance’s terms caution that its AI outputs may contain errors, bias or outdated information and should not be relied on alone for decisions. The company says inputs may include unvetted material from third parties, and that prompts may be used for training purposes.
