Google announced on 20 October 2026 a Gemini business landing page and marketing and finance tools for all app users, targeting small-business owners it says already number in the tens of millions on the service. In a blog post announcing the rollout, Vishnu Sivaji, senior director of Gemini App, said the page brings branding, financial analysis and customer insights into one place for owners managing daily work. Google says the tools are beginning to roll out globally in the coming days.
Key points
- Google says the business page brings marketing, finance and customer-insight tasks into Gemini.
- Connections include Google Ads and Workspace, alongside third-party apps such as Shopify and Xero.
- Google says owners can generate brand-style visuals and turn business records into financial graphics and interactive models.
Google ties Gemini to Shopify and Xero
The new page is intended as a starting point for several business tasks rather than a separate tool for each one. Google says owners can use it to work on a brand, examine finances and seek customer insights. The company also says Gemini can connect to Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace.
Google names Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero among the third-party connected apps. Google describes the connections as part of the Gemini app rollout, alongside the new landing page and its marketing and finance capabilities.
The company says tens of millions of small-business owners already use Gemini to develop product ideas, handle customer feedback and analyse business performance. That figure describes use of Gemini before the new business page, which Google says is beginning to reach users globally.
Nano Banana 2.1 supplies brand visuals
For marketing work, Google says a business can upload its website, brand kit, fonts or colour palette to set a style in Gemini. Google says Gemini retains the supplied style when generating visuals for product launches and marketing campaigns.
The visual feature uses Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s image-generation model. AI Affairs previously reported its release with lower image-generation prices. Google says the new business tools pair that model with the style an owner supplies to produce marketing assets.
On the finance side, Google says Gemini can take spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records and produce financial graphics and interactive models in seconds. That gives owners another way to examine information already held in their business records. Google describes the finance capability and the marketing feature as part of the same rollout as the landing page.
Gemini use from Bordeaux to New Jersey
Google’s examples of existing use range across marketing, planning and customer service. In Bordeaux, it says Morgane, a ceramicist running Bleu Clémentine, uses Gemini for product descriptions, newsletters and social-media copy. Google says she saves two to three hours each day and spends that time making tableware and home décor.
In Maharashtra, Google says farmer and creator Santosh Jadhav used Gemini to assess whether his soil suited ginger, calculate seed requirements and prepare an investment budget. In Goiânia, it says personal organiser Patricia Morais built local visibility with Google Business Profile and uses Gemini for customer service and content creation.
Google says Gumilang, who developed Jakarta’s Barelz Arena, used Gemini to create a visual style, design merchandise and draft proposals for brand partnerships. Those are examples of owners applying the assistant to particular jobs. The newly announced landing page is Google’s attempt to make several such jobs accessible from one place.
In New Jersey, Google says Josh, who runs the single-location Burger & Butcher restaurant and butcher shop without a dedicated marketing team, uses Gemini with a connected Google Business Profile. He uses them to follow local Search and Maps performance, prepare updates tied to neighbourhood events and examine regional food trends while planning a breakfast programme and take-home butcher counter.
