Princeton Digital Group is seeking a syndicated loan of up to $1.2 billion for its Malaysia data centre buildout, Bloomberg reported on 14 October, citing a person familiar with the matter. The proposed facility has a three-year term. Its mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners are HSBC Holdings’ Singapore branch, Maybank Investment Bank, OCBC Bank (Malaysia), Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) and United Overseas Bank.

The Warburg Pincus-backed operator plans to raise up to $5 billion in debt financing in 2026 for its hyperscale platform across Asia Pacific, Mingtiandi reported on 12 October. Across eight markets, Princeton Digital Group has more than 1.8 gigawatts of data centre capacity in operation or under development.

AI Affairs previously reported DayOne’s RM15 billion financing for Johor data centres and Bridge Data Centres’ bid to increase a loan to $6.6 billion. Princeton Digital Group chairman and chief executive Rangu Salgame will discuss the company’s expansion and financing plans at Mingtiandi’s Data Centre Forum on 21 October 2026.
